Aurora Feast is an immersive dining installation that transforms a traditional dinner table into a responsive digital ecosystem. Developed for Event PRO Forum 2 as part of my work at Next-DC Creative Agency, the experience combined interactive visuals, custom electronics and sensor-driven interactions to create a living environment that reacted to guests in real time. I was responsible for the complete project—from concept development and visual design to hardware engineering, software development and on-site implementation.
The Challenge:
Create an experiential installation that demonstrates how technology can transform a shared meal into an emotional, multi-sensory experience. The installation needed to feel intuitive, encourage collaboration between participants and seamlessly blend digital interaction with the physical dining environment.
The Idea:
Rather than asking guests to interact with a screen, the dining table itself became the interface. Every touch, movement and shared action influenced the evolving audiovisual environment, transforming dinner into a collective experience where technology quietly amplified human connection instead of competing for attention.
